It started with the snacks we were giving our son.
When our son was five, we started paying closer attention to the snacks we were giving him.
We’d pick up a bar that looked like a good option, turn it over, read the label… and too often find more sugar and ingredients we simply wouldn’t have chosen ourselves.
So we thought: why not make our own?
Turns out, it wasn’t that simple.
We tried around 20 different recipes. Some crumbled the second we picked them up. Others took too long, required too many steps, or just weren’t realistic to make every week.
That’s when we realized the problem wasn’t finding another recipe.
So we started building a system.
Not another recipe. A system designed for real life.

OH MY BLOCK™ is a Swiss brand by MUGO Sàrl, a Swiss company. The Bar Maker started as an idea in our workshop in Switzerland, where we designed and developed it around one goal: making homemade bars simpler for everyday life.
So we designed the system we wished we had.
We both come from a design background, so we approached the problem the way we know best: understand what wasn’t working, simplify it, and design a better experience.
